Clark University
Founded in 1887, Clark University is an investigative and didactical university, and also a founding member of the famous Association of American Universities together with Harvard University and Yale University. It is located in Worcester of Massachusetts, the educational center of the United States. According to US News & World Report, its latest ranking is 91st in the United States. Clark University has many firsts in the academic field. For example, G. Stanley Hall, the first president of the university, is the first person to receive a Ph.D. in psychology in the United States and is the founder of the American Psychological Association; Professor A.A. Michelson is the first one to receive a Nobel Prize in the United States; Professor Robert Goddard got success in research and launching the first liquid fuel rocket of the United States, known as the "Father of Space". Clark University has a long history of this major, aiming to cultivate information managers with multiple talents. It focuses on students' abilities in business, management and professional technologies, and the ability to build enterprise information strategy, to design and evaluate effective business information systems and service systems, and to integrate internal and external information and data of the system, thus successfully operating between Business and ICT. Students who have studied in Shandong University of Science and Technology for four years, completed all the courses specified in the training plan and passed all the examination shall be awarded the undergraduate diploma of general higher education of Shandong University of Science and Technology, and students qualified for bachelor degree also get the bachelor’s degree certificate of Shandong University of Science and Technology.
