Clark University
Founded in 1887, Clark University is an investigative and didactical university, and also a founding member of the famous Association of American Universities together with Harvard University and Yale University. It is located in Worcester of Massachusetts, the educational center of the United States. According to US News & World Report, its latest ranking is 91st in the United States. Clark University has many firsts in the academic field. For example, G. Stanley Hall, the first president of the university, is the first person to receive a Ph.D. in psychology in the United States and is the founder of the American Psychological Association; Professor A.A. Michelson is the first one to receive a Nobel Prize in the United States; Professor Robert Goddard got success in research and launching the first liquid fuel rocket of the United States, known as the "Father of Space". The university offers 9 doctoral programs, 20 master programs and more than 30 undergraduate programs. It is a world-famous university with strong faculty and active academic environment.

International Economics and Trade is a popular major in the field of economics in Clark University. All the faculty have doctorates with high theoretical level and strong scientific research ability. The outstanding feature of its curriculum is the solid foundation in Theory of International Trade, International Financial Operations, and International Trade Rules. By setting up basic economic theory courses, it provides a flexible and continuous framework for students to understand major economic and social issues, and emphasizes the development of abilities on thinking and analyzing. On the basis of mastering the professional knowledge of basic courses by students, a firm foundation of economic analysis is combined with a series of applied courses that study important issues in the economic field. It pays attention to basic theoretical construction and theoretical frontiers with deeper theoretical and professional perspectives, as well as more international, universal and targeted professional knowledge and skills. Since the faculty for the major of International Economics and Trade all have doctorate degrees, they can provide students with many opportunities to participate in scientific research projects while teaching, helping them improve their scientific research level and innovation ability. Education Mode: The Sino-foreign cooperative education project of the university implements the training plan and teaching syllabus jointly formulated by both education parties. Some courses adopt foreign English textbooks, perform bilingual or all-English teaching, and implement credit system management. Students who have studied in Shandong University of Science and Technology for four years, completed all the courses specified in the training plan and passed all the examination shall be awarded the undergraduate diploma of general higher education of Shandong University of Science and Technology, and students qualified for bachelor degree also get the bachelor’s degree certificate of Shandong University of Science and Technology.
