Sino‑foreign Cooperative Education of SDUST Showcased at Shandong Education Expo

On August 21, the 2026 Shandong Education Expo opened at Shandong International Exhibition Center. Our university's Sino‑foreign cooperative education programmes made an impressive appearance, fully demonstrating the educational achievements of Jinan Campus as the pilot zone for international education of Shandong University of Science and Technology (SDUST). Guo Yiling, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, visited the booth to offer guidance. Liu Guodong, Deputy Party Secretary and Director of Jinan Campus; Wu Junqing, Zhao Changqing and Liu Hu, Members of the Campus Party Committee; together with heads of relevant departments took part in the exhibition activity.

At the Zone for Opening‑up of Education within the High‑quality Education Achievements Exhibition of the expo, SDUST presented its fruitful outcomes in international education systematically through display boards, videos, physical exhibits and on‑site briefings by staff members. The presentation covered cooperation and exchanges, talent cultivation, scientific and technological achievements, and social services.

SDUST's Sino‑foreign cooperative education initiative will further implement the internationalization development strategy. Relying on the development of the two institutes — the Swinburne College and the Bari College, the campus will continuously promote connotative development, and strive to cultivate high‑calibre talents with patriotism and a global vision. It will contribute to the university's pursuit of building a top‑tier university and the high‑quality development of education in Shandong Province through high‑level opening‑up.

It is reported that themed “Empowering with Digital Intelligence, Developing through Innovation”, this edition of the education expo attracted more than 600 exhibitors. It ranks as the largest flagship event in the education sector of Shandong Province. Taking full advantage of this platform, SDUST exchanged views and held discussions with education practitioners from across Shandong and the whole country, sharing experience in Sino‑foreign cooperative education and elevating its international profile.
