Guests from University of Western Sydney of Australia Visiting Ji’nan Campus

On the afternoon of June 14^th, 2024, Zhang Yixia, Vice Chairman of School Board and Director of Advanced Manufacturing Technology Research Center of University of Western Sydney of Australia visited Ji’nan Campus. Deputy Director Guo Lei of Organization Department of Tianqiao District Party Committee, Director Wu Kai of Science and Technology Bureau, and Director Xi Ling, et al. of Dikou Road Sub-district Office accompanied them on the visit. Executive Deputy Director Guo Jiashu and Deputy Directors Shi Zhou, Liu Xikui and Liu Guodong of the Management Committee of Ji’nan Campus interviewed the guests. Principals from relevant department attended the symposium.

Guo Jiashu extended welcome to Zhang Yixia and his party, introduced the operation history and development status of Shandong University of Science and Technology, and the positioning of the “three functional areas” and Chinese-foreign cooperative education characteristic of Ji’nan Campus, and hoped that both parties would carry out cooperation and exchanges in talent cultivation, scientific research cooperation and, mutual visits between teachers, etc.

Zhang Yixia introduced relevant information of University of Western Sydney, and hoped that both parties would establish friendly cooperative relations in talent introduction, student cultivation, teacher exchange and scientific research and so on.

Guo Lei, et al. introduced relevant information of “Haiyou Talent Festival” of Ji’nan City, as well as Tianqiao District’s policies concerning talent introduction, construction of scientific research platform and development of alumni economy and so on.

Zhang Yixia and his party visited the international education environment of the campus, and the “Serve the Motherland through Studying Abroad” cultural education corridor, art and sports building, and “Keyou” Quancheng Parlor and so on.
