Guests from Clark Visited Jinan Campus

Recently, American guests from Clark University visited Jinan campus, including Dr. William Fisher, Associate Provost & Dean of Graduate Studies of Clark University, Ms. Amy Gardner, Associate Dean of International Programs, and Mr. Li Baiqing, Director of China Programs. They met with Dr. Li Ping, Director of International Office, Prof. Qi Xueguang, Vice Executive Director of Jinan Campus, and Prof. Wang Yingzhang, Vice Director of Jinan Campus, and the staff from the Department of Electrical Engineering & Information Technology, the department of Finance & Economics, Academic Affairs Office and Foreign Affairs Office. Prof. Qi warmly welcomed the guests, made positive comments on the cooperation between two universities in the past years, and showed the gratitude to Clark’s contribution. Dr. Fisher also expressed his expectation for the prospective development in two universities.

During the visit, the two parties discussed some events related to the cooperative program and made the meeting minutes.

Clark guests met with the students who have intentions to go abroad through 3+1+1 program. They gave detailed introductions and explanations about the program in order to help students make clear planning.

Our guests also held a meeting with freshmen of Year 2015, in which they introduced the cooperative program and Clark University. The students got a better understanding of the cooperative program and 3+1+1 program. Students brought questions with enthusiasm and showed the ability of good English.
