In order to provide an opportunity for international teachers to meet their counterparts and familiarize themselves with the campus, Foreign Affairs Office held an orientation on 3rdMarch, which is right before the beginning of the new semester.
The orientation started at 9am and there were nearly 20 international teachers attended. They walked around the campus together with their student assistants, while the available facilities and resources of the university were introduced to them at the same time. Also, they met their own Chinese counterparts in International Teachers’ Office by this chance. At the end of the orientation, international teachers were taken to their classrooms to learn how to use the multimedia devices inside the classrooms.
Most international teachers believed that the orientation has positively contributed to their first arrive adjustment by eliminating their confusions at a time. They stated that they are now ready to start to work.
