In order to promote the opening-up of education, further broaden students' global vision and enhance their career competitiveness, Jinan Campus organized a week-long program of internship at famous enterprises and study tour at prestigious universities in Hong Kong during the winter vacation of 2025. Guo Jiashu, Executive Deputy Director of the campus's Management Committee, and Wu Junqing, Deputy Director of SDUST's International Office, were invited to attend related activities in Hong Kong from January 18 to 22.

During the visit, a delegation led by Guo Jiashu attended student internship and training activities at AIA International Limited, and the opening ceremony for the Program of College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship (in Collaboration with Top Universities and Enterprises) and the "Business Leaders and Corporate Innovation" themed event, and discussed cooperation matters regarding internship, training and career development bases with corporate executives. They also visited the University of Hong Kong (HKU) for exchange, engaging with students about their studies, further education, employment and life in Hong Kong. Liu Zhengtao (DL Team), Regional Director of AIA Hong Kong, presented Guo Jiashu with a "Certificate of Appreciation" to express gratitude for SDUST's support and contributions.

During their internship at AIA Group, the students engaged in courses covering global wealth management, financial markets, corporate innovation, leadership development and career advancement. Through this systematic curriculum, they gained insights into cutting-edge financial concepts and management techniques. At the conclusion of the program, they developed and presented their business proposals in innovative formats such as theatrical performances and multilingual presentations, which not only honed their teamwork skills but also significantly enhanced their knowledge base and professional competencies. Additionally, the students visited HKU, where they attended an enlightening lecture by Professor Wang Dawei, a distinguished scholar in innovation and information management, as well as management and strategy at the Business School, who holds a Ph.D. and is an honorary professor at Northwestern University of the United States. This experience allowed them to appreciate diverse pedagogical approaches. The week-long practical exchange activities greatly expanded the students' international outlook, sharpened their abilities, and yielded substantial rewards.
