On January 16, Jinan Campus organized a symposium for international students in the Library meeting room. Attendees included Fan Zhijian, Dean of SDUST's College of International Exchange, Guo Jiashu, Executive Deputy Director of the Jinan Campus's Management Committee, as well as representatives from the Department of Academic Affairs, Department of Student Affairs & Youth League and International Office, and international student representatives.
The international students provided reports and exchanges on various aspects of their lives and studies, expressing in Chinese their affection for China, SDUST and their teachers.
The attendees patiently addressed the issues and concerns raised by the students, encouraging them to actively integrate into Chinese culture and the life at SDUST with an open and inclusive mindset and through proactive learning and emulating others. They hoped that the students would enjoy their lives and gain fruitful accomplishments in China and at SDUST.
