Delegates from the University of Greater Manchester Visited Jinan Campus

On the afternoon of January 14, a delegation of three members from the University of Greater Manchester, including Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Alla Kesava Rao, Chief Strategic Officer (TNE-SEA) and International Director, and Ms. Jessica Wong, Deputy Director of the International, visited Jinan Campus. Shi Zhou, Deputy Director of the campus's Management Committee, met with the visitors, accompanied by relevant personnel from the International Office. Yan Shifeng, Director of Jinan Xiantou Talent Development Group Co., Ltd., also participated in the meeting.

Shi Zhou extended a warm welcome to Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Alla Kesava Rao and his delegation, and provided an overview of SDUST's basic information and the school-running characteristics, major development and discipline development of Jinan Campus. He also expressed hope for cooperation and exchange between the two parties in the area of internationalization development.

Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Alla Kesava Rao provided an overview of the University of Greater Manchester in the UK, particularly highlighting its achievements in scientific research, student development and international education initiatives. He also expressed admiration for the remarkable accomplishments that SDUST has achieved over the seven decades, as well as the distinctive global education framework at Jinan Campus, looking forward to the two institutions soon engaging in high-level, multifaceted international exchanges and collaborations.

After that, both parties discussed potential collaborations in areas such as scientific research, international programs, faculty and student exchanges, and talent training. This discussion has laid a solid foundation for future international exchanges and collaborations between the two institutions.
