Chen Mingyao was enrolled in Communication Engineering of SDUST in 2015, started to study at UTAS in 2017 via 2+2 collaborative program between SDUST and UTAS, and graduated in July of 2019. She was awarded the undergraduate certificate and bachelor degree of SDUST, and meanwhile got the honors degree of UTAS. Due to the excellent academic grade GPA 6.44 (full grade is 7), she has been admitted into the master degree study in Communication Engineering of the University of New South Wales.
Chen Mingyao has obtained the university scholarship in the two year study at SDUST, has got the tuition waiver for 25% in the two years at UTAS, and got HD result for 4 courses due to the academic performance in her second semester at UTAS. Her four year university life is always busy, but as she sows, so would she reap. Especially the experience that she undertook the Chinese academic tutor in Engineering Physics teaching for undergraduate level at School of Engineering when she was in the final year of UTAS, is unforgettable and memorable. The purpose is to help out the new coming SDUST juniors to adapt the study at UTAS, and during that period, she collated the knowledge point of the course and shared to the juniors, with her understanding and learning approaches. At the same time she never relaxed her academic study and completed the graduate thesis for Honors.
