China Education Association for International Exchange Visits Jinan Campus

On April 21, a delegation including Zong Wa, Standing Director of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) and former Minister-Counselor for Education at the Chinese Embassy in Australia, and Wang Shenggang, Chairman of the Professional Committee for International Exchange and Cooperation in Education of the Chinese Association for Non-Government Education and former Minister-Counselor for Education at the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, visited the campus for an exchange. Guo Jiashu, Executive Deputy Director of the Jinan Campus's Management Committee, along with Deputy Directors Shi Zhou, Liu Xikui and Liu Guodong, met with the guests.

Guo Jiashu extended a warm welcome to Zong Wa and Wang Shenggang and introduced SDUST's history, achievements, as well as the Jinan Campus's international education positioning and distinctive features. He highlighted the campus's accomplishments in cultivating globally competitive talents, faculty development, and scientific research collaboration, expressing hope to further broaden perspectives, learn from best practices, and enrich the connotation of Sino-foreign Cooperative Education through the platform of CEAIE.

Zong Wa commended the campus for its achievements in international education in recent years, and introduced the basic profile and main operations of CEAIE, particularly its efforts in introducing high-quality international educational resources and facilitating exchanges between Chinese and foreign universities.

The two sides held in-depth discussions on how to effectively utilize the platform of CEAIE to advance the development of the campus's distinctive international education features.
