On September 22, a welcome meeting for foreign teachers on Jinan Campus was held in the library conference room. Jia Changxiang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Jinan Campus, relevant directors of departments and offices, and the foreign teachers in 2023 attended the meeting.
In his welcome speech, Jia Changxiang introduced the features and positioning of the Jinan Campus as an international-cooperation education pilot area of Shandong University of Science and Technology and stated the development of sino-foreign cooperation. He welcomed foreign teachers to Jinan Campus to carry out their teaching work, and sincerely hoped that they could give full play to their teaching advantages and help to improve the quality of international talents cultivation on the campus.
All the foreign teachers have expressed their love for the satisfactory campus working environment, fully affirming the diligence and active participation of students. The Chinese and foreign teachers have in-depth exchanges and discussions, and they are full of confidence and expectations for enhancing mutual understanding and support, and hope successfully complete relevant teaching tasks.
In this semester, a total of 37 foreign teachers undertake the teaching tasks in 38 courses of Chinese-foreign cooperation programs. Foreign teachers on Jinan Campus will give lectures, conduct forums, and actively participate in cultural activities on campus , which will further enrich the construction of the international campus.
