volunteer serve in old people's home
53 students as volunteers from student's union of DEEIT went to 2 old people's home to serve at the time of the approaching of the double ninth festival. The volunteers did some cleaning to make a neat and tidy rooms and yard and listen to something about old people’s life experiences. Students sang beautiful songs, danced, played Chinese shadow-boxing and read poems for the old people, the sound of happiness flowed out of the silent apartment which it used to be. All the students will never forget the old people's smiling and the deep emotion in their eyes.
This activity had great significance in making the students be aware of the meaning of respecting old people. Volunteers also call for all the young people in our society to spend some of spare time to show their love and care for their parents.
