Tian Yu and His Teammates Won Gold Medal at the North Atlantic Karate Federation’s Intercollegiate and Open Tournament

Exciting news came from the United States. As one of the students who went to Cambridge College from Shandong University of Science and Technology by the Sino-US cooperative program, Tian Yu joined in Cambridge College Karate Club (CCKC). Atthe North Atlantic Karate Federation’s Intercollegiate and Open Tournament, Cambridge College Karate Club, which was represented by Tian Yu and his teammates, took the gold over Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, andUMass/Dartmouthin kata (forms), and placed first over a combined Boston University-MIT team, the Almeida International Karate Association Team, the Bermuda National Team, and the New England Kyokushin Karate Organization Team in kumite(sparring).
