Last week, Jinan Campus welcomed all International teachers for spring semester. As a routine work in the beginning of every semester, Foreign Affairs Office arranged an Orientation for the new teachers to help them to adjust the living and teaching at SDUST.
The Orientation was held on Feb. 23, a warm Sunday morning. The new teachers were gathered together at 9:30am and led by the staff of FAO to different places in the campus, which made them very excited and curious. After campus tour, they were taken to the appointed classrooms separately by their student assistants, then all met in Room 608 where they learned how to operate the multi-media computer in the classroom. Next, all teachers went to International Teachers’ Office to meet their Chinese counterpart Sally who will assist them with teaching affairs in the whole term. Sally communicated with the new teachers and gave useful information about English teaching. At last, the staff of FAO gave a complete introduction and guidance related to their life and teaching in Jinan Campus.
All new teachers showed the satisfaction with their living and teaching conditions in Jinan Campus, and felt thankful.
