Jinan Campus held the 2013 Graduation ceremony

Jinan campus of SDUST held the 2013 graduation ceremony in library hall on 27^thJune. President Ren Tingqi, vice Party secretary Li Shuguang, and other administrators of Jinan campus including Gao Yongjun, Qi Xueguang, Gong Xingan, Wang Yingzhang, Sun Jianfeng, and Fang Hengfu attended the ceremony. Mr. Leng Shuwei, duty director of administration office hosted the ceremony. Moreover, all of the duty directors of Jinan campus and graduates attended the ceremony as well.

The graduation ceremony started with Chinese national anthem. Mr. Gao Yongjun read out the lists of province-level of outstanding graduates, university-level of outstanding graduates, and “my most unforgettable teachers”, and they were awarded the honor certificates. After that, graduates swear an oath of becoming valuable contributors to China’s continuing development, followed by a gift-giving ceremony.

On behalf of SDUST, President Ren Tingqi gave a speech at the 2013 graduation ceremony. He congratulated the graduates’ achievements, and expressed gratitude to the staff. He, recollected the pleasant memories of colorful college life with the graduates, and meanwhile he encouraged that the graduate should become a responsible person by cultivating the morality, keeping the thinking noble, standing high and aiming far; become a promising person by diligence and deliberate thinking; become a knowledgeable person by exploring and creating; and become a loving person by showing gratitude and sacrificing. He encouraged the graduates to be positive and brave in confronting difficulties and challenges, and to adhere to the motto of SDUST-Truth-seeking and Innovation- and take social responsibilities, and positively contribute to the development of the university and the country.

At the end of the graduation ceremony, the graduate representative Shao Qunfan, the undergraduate representative Wang Haoran and the teacher representative Li Hongyu respectively gave a sincere and touching speech that expresses the gratitude and the sense of nostalgia to Alma Master, as well as the caring and the expectation to graduates.
