Sino-Australia Cooperative Program Graduation Ceremony Held in Jinan Campus of SDUST

The graduation ceremony for the students enrolled in Sino-Australia NMIT cooperative program in 2010 was held in library hall on 25^thJune. Mr. Gao Yongjun (vice-Party Secretary of Jinan campus of SDUST), Mr. Bettiol (vice-president of NMIT), Mr. Fang Hengfu (vice-director of Jinan Campus) and the duty directors of relevant departments attended the ceremony. Mr. Leng Shuwei (duty director of administration office) hosted the ceremony.

The graduation ceremony started in Chinese and Australian national anthem. On behalf of SDUST, Mr. Gao Yongjun congratulated the graduates, expressed gratitude to Chinese and foreign teachers and NMIT, affirmed the positive contribution of the cooperative program, and encouraged the students to follow good tradition of SDUST, broaden their vision, accumulate knowledge, refine capability, and in the future life trip to keep learning, take responsibilities, and strive for greater progress.

Also, Mr. Bettiol congratulated the achievement of the students and expressed his thanks to the management and the staff in his speech. Additionally, he pointed out that over 1350 graduates had been developed from this Sino-Australia cooperative program and the graduates’ great effort has been highly accredited overseas. This is the fruit of the cooperative program and even of the cooperation of two countries. Mr. Bettiol also said that this is a rapidly changing world where new skills and knowledge are constantly needed, so that the students should never stop learning, thereby becoming valuable contributors to China’s continuing spectacular growth and development.

After the teacher representative Lian Jian and the student representative Qin Yuduo’s speeches, Mr. Bettiol issued diploma certificates to the graduates.
