
On June 11, Jinan Campus held the completion ceremony for the International Undergraduate Entrustment Training Program. Attendees included Liang Saijiang, Executive Deputy Party Secretary of the Campus; Zhou Ruimin, President of China Affairs at Singapore Nanyang Institute of Management and Dean of China Affairs at Thailand Krirk University; Mao Qingdong, Deputy Party Secretary and Director of Student Affairs Office of the Campus; Shi Zhou, Deputy Director of Campus Management Committee; Liu Guodong, Deputy Director of Campus Management Committee and Director of Academic Affairs Office; along with some faculty members and all program graduates.
At the ceremony, Liang Saijiang, on behalf of the campus, extended warm congratulations to all students who had successfully completed their domestic study phase and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated faculty and staff. He spoke highly of the achievements made by the International Undergraduate Entrustment Training Program in cultivating international talents, while offering expectations and advice to students preparing for overseas studies: first, maintain patriotic sentiments and lofty aspirations—no matter where they are, they should keep their motherland close to heart, strengthen cultural confidence, share China's stories well, and promote China's positive image; second, pursue academic excellence with diligence and dedication—maintain exemplary academic discipline during overseas studies and strive to become outstanding professionals; third, embrace openness and mutual learning—actively engage with faculty and students from various countries to become ambassadors of cultural exchange between China and other nations.
Zhou Ruimin announced the list of outstanding student cadres, merit students and program completers. Attending leaders presented certificates to representatives of outstanding student cadres, merit students and program completers, and gifted them with the university emblem of SDUST.
Class advisor representative Teng Yapeng addressed all program completers with heartfelt words, acknowledging their growth and progress while urging them to keep their homeland in mind and strive for academic excellence. Tian Xiangzhe, student representative from the China-Thailand class, recalled memorable campus experiences, expressing profound gratitude to the university and faculty while sharing aspirations for the future. Li Jianing, student representative from the China-Singapore class, shared insights gained from the international learning environment and how it broadened her horizons, along with her expectations for overseas studies.
