On 1st, July, Vice President of University of Tasmania Rob Wilson, Dean of the School of Engineering Tim Finnigan, Director of School of Science and Engineering Business Development and Partnerships Rachel Perkin and Chairman of AEMG Education Group Li Xinqing and acommpanying guests visited Jinan Campus. Xu Longfei, Vice President of SDUST, Member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Jinan Campus, met all the guests. Fan Mingqu, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Jinan Campus, Liu Xikui, Director of the Electrical Information Department, and Wu Junqing, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, also attended the meeting.
During the talks, they reviewed the 15-year history and fruitful achievements of the friendly cooperation between the two universities, indicating that they will further deepen the cooperation and development of existing projects and actively expand new areas of cooperation.
After the meeting, Rob Wilson and his delegation took part in the Campus Open Day held in the Art and Sports Center of the campus. He made a cordial speech to all the visiting students and parents, and had face-to-face exchanges on the project learning.
On the morning of 2, July , Dean Tim Finnigan and Ms. Rachel Perkin participated in a seminar for faculty and students of the Department of Electrical Information and met with students who are planning to have further study to the University of Tasmania.
